North East Universities team up to protect frontline NHS workers

Newcastle and Northumbria universities are working together to produce and design vital protective equipment for the NHS.

In honour of Katherine Hannan, a nurse went out of her way to be at the very front lines of caring for the sick during the Spanish Flu pandemic. The Hannan visor is a low cost full face visor designed for single sessional use.

Manufactured from Polypropylene and PET, visors are distributed flatpacked, and can be sterilised easily before assembly when needed.

The head strap is fully adjustable and allows the user the ability to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during use.

Anti-fog Coating:
High Clarity PET visor with anti-fog coating.

Non-elasticated, “rachet” style head strap to prevent slippage during use.

Encapsulating Top & Sides:
The visor completely covers the brow, face and lateral edges of the face.

Suitable for:
Use with face masks, goggles, prescription lenses and glasses.

Instructions and Assembly

Visors are distributed and sealed into packs of 20. here come flatpack to save on space and storage and allow the recipient to assemble a visor when needed using the provided “IKEA style” instructions.
